Who is she?
MA FORD
Muralist / Signpainter / Illustrator / Printmaker
Currently living in Portland, Oregon, MA FORD is a multidisciplinary artist from Oregon City who enjoys the physicality of art mediums such as printmaking, illustration, and murals. Though she was born here in the PNW, she has been molded by different places that she’s been honored to call home. MA has spent years working and living in other countries such as New Zealand, Australia, and Mexico. This has introduced her to new cultures, ways of thinking, and natural landscapes that inform her work. Since she’s moved back to Portland she’s continued to search for the balance between the joy of physical movement and hunkering down to paint. Alongside skateboarding and snowboarding her artistic practice can flourish and she’s finding a balance between inspiration and creation.
